Jesus and His God
The Father and Son are both Divine
The Bible also teaches the divinity of not only God the Father,
but also the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God
There is one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things I Cor 8:6
Confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” Rom 10:9
Lord,…We believe and know that you are the Holy One of God. John 6:68
Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the King of Israel. John 1:49
You are the Christ, the Son of the living God. Matt 16:16
You call me Master and Lord: and you say well; for so I am. John 13:13
You believe in God, believe also in me. John 14:1
But the Father is Head of His Son
However, the Son of God cannot also be God Almighty;
that would be two Supreme Gods, which contradicts scripture.
Instead, the Son is God (head) of his creation, while the Father is God (Head) of his Son.
[Christ] is the head of all principality and power, Col 2:10 but
the head of Christ is God 1Cor 11:3
O LORD [YHWH, Jehovah], thou art exalted as head above all 1Chr 29:11
the Son himself shall be subject unto him [God the Father]
that put all things under him that God may be all in all 1 Cor 15:28
(God is the exception in what is under his feet)
what [the Son] sees the Father do…these also do the Son likewise John 5:19
[the Father] shows [the Son] all things that himself does John 5:20
the Father…gave [Christ] a commandment: what to say and speak John 12:49
my Father is greater than I John 14:28
No servant is greater than his master,
nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. John 13:16
[Christ’s] Father…is greater than all John 10:29
The Son can do nothing of himself John 5:19
I can of mine own self do nothing, He said. John 5:30
[Christ] lives by the Father John 6:57
The Son of God is called the Father’s “servant”
my servant, mine elect, in whom my soul delights Isa 42:1 (Matt 12:18)
my servant shall deal prudently, he shall be exalted Isa 52:13
I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH Zech 3:8
the head of every man is Christ 1Cor 11:3
That's why Thomas said, "My Lord and my God!" John 20.28
Jesus said to [the devil]…Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God Matt 4:7
Christ is Satan's God and Christ is our God, our head;
just as the Father is Christ's God, His Head.
The Son is also called God because it is the Father's will.
Doing so does not break the second commandment.
All men should honor the Son even as they honor the Father John 5:23
The Father Himself calls His Son, God.
Unto the Son he [God the Father] says, Thy throne, O God, is forever. Heb 1:8
Christ is therefore called the Lord, the mighty God who will come and gather His saints.
Ps 50:1-6
The mighty God, even the Lord… (the Father is the Almighty God, the Most High God)
Our God shall come, (Christ is our God) and shall not keep silent
(1Thes 4:16 with a shout, with the trump of God)
a fire shall devour before Him (Christ comes with a flaming fire 2Thes 1:8)
that He may judge His people …for God is judge Himself
Gather my saints together (He sends His angels to gather His elect Matt 24:31)
And when He returns to earth we will exclaim,
Lo, this is our God; we have waited for Him, and He will save us. Isa 25:9
The testimony of Jesus is that there is one God, His Father, who is His God.
Jesus said,
My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? Matt 27:46
I ascend to my Father and your Father; to my God and your God John 20:17
I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God
which is coming down our of heaven from my God Rev 3:12

the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory Eph 1:17
the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ 1Pet 1:3
the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ Rom 15:6
the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ 2Cor 1:3
the God and Father of the Lord Jesus 2Cor 11:31
God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ Col 1:3
to serve His God and Father Rev 1:6
Thus, God the Father is the God of Jesus.
